“ Best fish restaurant in the area. Great service, attention to detail. Probably only place where purpose cutlery for fish knife and fork is set up. ”
“ We spent 3 nights in Meteor Beach Hotel and two nights in a row we have dined at Mehtap Restaurant as we have really enjoyed the good quality fresh food and the excellent service. We had red mullet fish both evenings, a local and tasty fish best served fried. Of course we had mezes as starters, the filled wineleaves, called Yaprak sarma in Turkish were served warm and were so delicious we had to order another portion, apparently a local lady is preparing them fresh, really worth trying. The second night they also had filled zucchini flower, kabak çiçeği dolması in Turkish, another delicacy by the same lady, of course we had couple portions of that as well :) All other mezes and fried calamari were also fresh and very tasty. We had raki to drink both nights. Fish restaurants are expensive in Turkey but what we paid was not very expensive. Mehtap restaurant has two floors, either you may choose to take a table upstairs or downstairs right next to the sea. We enjoyed being downstairs where it was quite. Overall I highly recommend this restaurant to everybody. ”
